

Maria Camahort is a guitarist, composer, ensemble leader and teacher. Her exceptional knowledge of her instrument and her devotion towards chamber music and collaborative projects have given her the opportunity to perform and compose in a great variety of settings and contexts.
With her personal projects and different collaborations, Maria has performed in major concert halls of cities such as London (Milton Court, Southbank Centre, Kings Place), Paris (Salle Cortot), St. Petersburg (Glasunov Hall), Moscow (Scriabin Museum), Warsaw (Lutoslawsky Hall, Teatr Imka), Cracow, Hamburg (Elbphilarmonie), Barcelona (Auditori, Palau de la Música), Madrid (Círculo de Bellas Artes, Residencia de Estudiantes), Brussels (European Commission), Mexico City, Chicago, Bethlehem (USA), Auckland (NZ). Her compositions have been awarded at the I Composition Contest Miquel Llobet (Second prize), III Composition Contest Maria de Pablos (Second prize), and IV Composition Contest Maria de Pablos (First prize), and have been performed in Spain, France, USA, UK, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
