Maria Camahort has been awarded with the 2nd prize in the III Composition Contest Maria de Pablos, with the work "Broken Landscapes", for clarinet and piano.
Maria Camahort is a guitarist, ensemble leader, composer and teacher. Her exceptional knowledge of her instrument and her devotion towards chamber music and collaborative projects have given her the opportunity to perform in a great variety of genres, settings and contexts.
With her personal projects and different collaborations, Maria has performed in major concert halls of cities such as London (Milton Court, Southbank Centre, Kings Place, Cervantes Theatre), Paris (Salle Cortot), St. Petersburg (Glasunov Hall), Warsaw (Lutoslawsky Hall, Teatr Imka), Cracow, Barcelona (Auditori, Auditori Caja Madrid), Madrid (Círculo de Bellas Artes, Residencia de Estudiantes), Brussels (European Commission) and Mexico City.
